Kids Clay Bobblehead Workshop

Get ready to build something that actually bobbles!

In this one-night handbuilding workshop, kids will use real clay to create their very own ceramic bobblehead from scratch. They can turn their creation into an animal, a person, a favorite character, a silly creature—or something completely made up. We’ll teach them the handbuilding techniques they need to construct their piece and, most importantly, how to create the mechanism that makes the head bobble!

This workshop is designed for ages 7+ and will last approximately 1.5 hours. Parents are welcome to stay and watch or help, but they do not need to remain at the studio during class.

$40 per child includes the clay workshop, all materials, both firings, and a return visit to glaze the finished project.

After class, the pieces will stay with us to dry completely before their first kiln firing. Drying time will be approximately 1½ weeks…
