A Two-Part Handbuilding Workshop

Create a piece of fall décor entirely from clay in this two-night workshop!

On Monday, September 14th at 6:30 PM, we’ll start from scratch, handbuilding a collection of ceramic leaves along with the ceramic hanging piece that will hold them. You’ll be able to shape, texture and add details to your leaves to make your wall hanging your own.

Then we’ll meet again one week later on Monday, September 21st at 6:30 PM to bring them to life with glaze. During our second class, I’ll teach a special glazing technique that gives the leaves a beautiful, aged and rustic finish. We’ll also be working with a selection of specialty glazes that aren’t normally available for public use at the studio, so this is a chance to experiment with some completely different finishes and combinations.
