Service Description

Booking a private event at Groovy Glaze is designed to be simple, flexible, and stress-free while still creating a meaningful, hands-on experience for your group. These events are perfect for celebrations, team gatherings, homeschool groups, birthday parties, or casual get-togethers, and are hosted during quieter hours for a more relaxed and intimate studio environment. Weekday private events are available Monday through Friday between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM. The cost to reserve your event is a $75 base fee, with a deposit (a portion of the base fee) required to secure your date and time. Weekend rates are $100, and can be booked Saturday from 10am - 2pm and Sunday from 10am-12p or 4pm-6pm. Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances, and the booking fee does not apply toward pottery and is separate from the cost of any items painted during your event. Each guest will choose their own pottery piece upon arrival, with a wide selection available ranging from approximately $10 to $60, offering options for all ages and skill levels. If you would like to set a budget or limit options for your group, we are happy to help customize that ahead of time. You are welcome to bring in your own food, drinks, and decorations to personalize your event. At the end of your event, guests are responsible for gathering and disposing of their trash, clearing all food, decorations, and personal items from tables, and taking any large garbage items with them upon departure. Our staff will handle all studio-related cleanup, including painting materials and resetting the space. Groovy Glaze is designed to be approachable and fun, with no experience needed, allowing guests to keep their projects simple or get creative using in-studio examples and inspiration. Once completed, all pieces will be dried, kiln-fired, and finished with a food-safe glaze when applicable, and will be ready for pickup in approximately one week. Guests will complete a simple checkout ticket, making pickup easy and organized. Events may be canceled with at least 24 hours notice and can be completed online; however, all deposits are non-refundable.

Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances. Cancellations Bookings may be canceled at any time up to 24 hours prior to the event. Cancellations can be completed online for your convenience. Please note: all cancellations will forfeit the deposit and no refunds will be issued. Clean-Up Responsibilities We want your time here to feel relaxed and fun—however, hosts and guests are responsible for basic clean-up of any food, drinks, and decorations brought into the studio. * All trash must be gathered at the end of your event * Large garbage items must be taken with you upon departure * Tables should be cleared of food and personal items (Our team will handle standard studio cleaning like floors and painting materials.)
